Since 1987 Tommy Harrington has presented seminars for all types of organizations and businesses from CPA organizations to "Fortune 500" corporations. Tommy has taught over 75,000 people to use Microsoft Office Software in hands-on classes. Tommy is the senior Excel instructor for the Computer Training Unit at NC State University where he has taught since 1996.
Tommy has received many awards for Excel training; his most recent was the 2006 Outstanding Professional Speaker of the Year Award presented by the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants. In 2000 Tommy presented his first Excel seminar for the faculty and staff at Cambridge University in England. Before starting his training and consulting company in 1989, Tommy served in the financial industry for over 20 years as CEO, Controller, and Chief Operations Officer.
Tommy Harrington has been creating custom applications, automating budget preparation, branch reporting, product analysis, and engineering with Excel, Access and Word for over 20 years.
